Idle air control adjustment-help

I read the tech article on adjusting the IAC but Im not sure what the ALDL is. Where/what is the ALDL and where are pins A and B?

The ALDL is the connector under your steering column, A is the upper right most terminal, B is to the immediate left of A. The terminals look somewhat like this:
