Traded the coupe for a brand new SS

Ok i know this isnt tech but they got rid of the brag board. I traded off my 86 coupe two weeks ago for a brand new Camaro SS. I got a really good deal on it cause some guy special ordered it but couldnt wait the four month build time so the dealership found him one similar and when they got this car it just sat on the lot. For some reason no one wants a 6-speed. Go figure huh? But it is a 2000 not a 2001 it had been on the lot a while. But it only had 250 miles on it. Coincidentally if you guys happen to see my blue 86 camaro for sale somewhere in Idaho it has a brand new LM1 in it among other things so it might be worth what they are asking for it. Anyways back to what this guy ordered on my SS. He opted for the stainless steel exhaust. Hurst shifter which sucks compaired to the ripper. Leather 12 disk changer. Auborn rear end with the 3.42 ratio. Plus the blistein shock upgrade package and other misc odds and ends. I will have to say this though I miss the look of a good thirdgen. Hey this doesnt mean that i have to start haning out at fbody.org does it? Cause that site sucks compared to thirdgen.org. Any comments? Oh I got 29.5 miles to the gallon with the air on doing 80. Gotta love technology

86 Coupe with a ton of fact. options G80 (now with 3.43's)Four wheel disk, T-5, (now a world class T-5), T-tops
Mods- IROC Front and rear anti sway bars with energy suspension endlinks and i also added the wonderbar, No exhaust after the Cat though fell off and to cheap to buy a 3 incher yet so I have to be quiet. Fourth Gen seats now. LM1 350 Crate engine!!! Good no more LG4 evil bad naughty things. Still seem to get descent Gas mileage. All major computer stuff hooked up and running good.

I know the feeling, my father used to be a cars saleman and his closer is now a General Manager at the Chevy dealer, they has a black SS convert 6 speed , charcoal interior, the hurt shifter does suck, at first I thought it was a factory shifter, it is nothing like the hurst I have in my IROC, anyway everytime I sit in it, it just seems to mold around your body, I lOVE the 2001 SS camaros.....I want so bad but I would never give up the IROC.

Hey Blue_Meanie86SC. The car was traded at the mistubishi dealer in Pocatello. The SS was bought in American falls I think The dealership there was Ricks or something like that. All those falls cities start to sound the same that is what is weird about Idaho. Anyways my old car had some cool mods and it handled like it was on rails. Plus it had the ripper shifer. I would really like to see it get a good home. I bet the car is still at that mitshubishi dealer if anyone wants to ask about it you might get it cheap.

What can I say, we like our falls here, there's Idaho, American, Twin, Post and probably other towns with falls in the name Anyway, it was most likely Ricks in Am. Falls, and I think I know that dealership you're talkin about in Poky, it's on Yellowstone right near the big bend in the road if I remember right, I lived in Poky last semester to go to ISU. I'll have to put in a stop there when I go pick up my books next week Too bad I can't afford another car right now, it'd deffinately get a good home then. Too many people around here beat the he11 out of thirdgens, I'm one of the few that's actually taken the time to resurrect one and keep it in good shape.
