hi everybody i have a problem i know this is an f-body message board but im helping my friend try to fix up his ford truck he has a ford ranger with an engine out of a ford falcon it has an edelbrock carb on it but im not sure what kind it is but the problem is he can start it but once he puts it in gear the thing dies can anybody help me out im getting pretty stumped on this one thatnks to everyone in advance

 

Check for vacuum leaks, and check the initial timing after setting the idle speed. Make sure he has airbleed adjustments.

Might be worth a look through Edelbrocks site, I believe they have PDF's of thier carb manuals.
