Whenever I stop in traffic my RPM's will drop down near the point of dying, then pick up again, and repeat this endlessly until I start moving again.

It started doing this after I swapped out my auto for manual. Could it be a computer problem?

 

Is the timing set correct for that engine? Maybe your timing is retarted a bit
