What Kind of Lifters???

Hello All,
I have a '89 Firebird Formula, 305, TBI, Auto. I will be replaceing the cam soon, however I need to know if I have hydaulic roller lifters or just plain hydaulic lifters. I guess I can get a cam either way. I am confused. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome aboard! You have hydrolic roller lifters, they would end up costing more than your camshaft, so I would just reuse your stock ones if they are in good shape.

First thing to consider might be how many miles you got on them.Second what other mods might you be doing. But if your going to be putting in a cam know would be the best time to do them while your in there.some cam kits come with new lifters.but I guess it will have to be your call. After it's easy for someone to spend your money
