Fuel Line Question

Hey guys I was just peeking under this IROC I picked up for short dough and realized that someone repaired the fuel lines with a rubber hose.

The location of this is basically in front of the left rear tire along the floor right where it bends at a rounded 90.

I have never had to drop the tank but my thought is it is one line all the way to the front of the car?

My other thought is it is one line from the top of the sending unit as well?

If I can get a digital shot I'll post it tomorrow. Just curious what you all have experienced. I am going to end up dropping the tank to fix it the right way regardless.

You have three lines coming from the tank. One is pressure, one is return, and the third is coal canister feed.

Yes, they are all one length except for the pressure line. The pressure line is divided by the filter under the rear drivers side seat.

Do you know how they are mounted to the sending unit? I want to replace the full line if possible.

rubber line and hose clamps, IIRC. Threaded fittings for the filter.

If the rest of the line is in good shape, I would just remove the rubber hose repaired area and use hard line with compression fittings. PITA to do the whole line. Especially if you don't have to.

If you go the compression fitting route, make sure you prep the steel line right. Gas leaks are no fun at all.

3/8" pressure line and 5/16" return, BTW.
