Piston stop tool dimensions

Can anyone post a picture and dimensions of a piston stop tool. Im lloking for the type that thread in through the spark plug hole. My dads a machinist and is gonna make me one I just need to know the dimensions. Thanks

The one you buy is made of brass. It's threaded to the same thread as a spark plug. There's a hole drilled through the center to allow the air in the cylinder out.

Pull the rockers off the cylinder being checked. If they open, they will hit the stop tool and damage it. Thread the tool into the spark plug hole. Total depth doesn't matter. You just want it to contact the piston before it reaches TDC.
