camshaft
im currently looking for a camshaft for my 86 iroc. it has the LG4 305. i was looking at a summit camshaft 204/214 @.050 with lobe separation of 112. is this a good camshaft of is it too extreme or not extreme enough. i really dont want to get a new torque converter. any ideas??

I would recomend using a cam with those specs for a stock or mildly built 305 or 350. If you want to save some shipping fees you could just go to Azone or another parts store and get a melling MTC-1 or MTC-2. MTC-1 206in 214 exh @.50. MTC-2 214 218 @.50. These are great cams and will work with the stock converter.
