fuel line question..

On a tpi engine, the steel feed and return lines to the fuel rail had a little accident(his name is Jason), and I still have both pieces of each. I was thinking that I could double clamp fuel injection hose to each side and hopefully it will hold the pressure. Thoughts? Ideas?

Which parts? If its from the rubber hoses to the part thats attached to the rails, those afaik are still available from the dealer and not expensive.

If you do go the FI hose route, make sure to bubble the ends of the metal lines to help prevent the hose from blowing off.

It does go from the rubber to the fuel rails.. Dealer says they aren't made anymore.

Do you think the FI hoses will work alright, permanantly?

Not available anymore huh? Hm... Did you ask him to do a search on it, sometimes that yields some results.

It will last fine, just make sure the ends of the lines arent smooth because the clamp itself doesnt do much, its what the hose grips to and a bubble on the line if you put one in there.
