Showing 3 codes.....what do i do?

I had my car looked at cause my service engine light was coming on and 3 codes showed up. They were42( est bypass failure), 43(esc failure), and 46(pass key). Where should I start to fix these problems.

......That's a group of codes you don't see everyday........... Damn....... Well first....by passkey, I assume it's a VATS code....Vehicle Anti-Theft System...? Does the car start, or have you ever gotten a turn-key and no crank, where you have to wait 10 mins or so to try to start it again? If so I imagine that's where that code is coming from...

Now EST or ESC.....my memory tells me that's something to do with your computer-advanced ignition timing. Check the connector for it....I THINK it's a single-wire connector somewhere on the passenger fender. But it's been a LONG time since I've worked on a GM......

That's the most help I can offer right now! Hopefully someone better will chime in.

Did you reset the ECM when you changed the switch? If not do that, and see what codes come up again, that way you can make sure you're getting fresh codes, not ones for stuff you've already fixed.
