Lg4 worth putting 1.6 rockers on?

Im planning on putting a 350 in my sports coupe eventualy, but i wont to get more power out of the lg4 and use parts from the lg4 later on the 350.Anyone put 1.6 on lg4 and what was the results?

I doubt it would make a big difference in power. But going from stamped sheet-metal ones to real ones would probably make the engine just run better overall, from the valve motion being so much more consistent from one to the next. They shouldn't hurt anything though.

The springs won't take it, plus I'm not even sure that they're tall enough not to bind. Before everything breaks though you should see a boost in low end performance.

I'd say go for it. I'm going to put some on my lg4 one of these days, but I'm going to get new heads first. Gonna change my valve train all at once. Should add at least a few horses. Every little bit helps, and they will also allow for better modifications to be made and be the most effective.

How does the performer rpm run on the lg4?

oh it's awesome, though I have a new carb(and a new distributer to make it all work). It adds a lot more power to the car, especially at the top end.
