booyah!
Car started up, holy **** does it sound mean. I still need to break in my new cam, but the car won't run on its own because I can't find my distributor wrench to fix the timing(oops, damnit). I put the distributor in 180 degrees off and it backfired on me, so I tried to take it out but that was a no go without a distributor wrench, but.. putting all of the spark plug wires on backwards(1 where 6 goes, etc) did allow it to start. Just FYI I can't wait to get this baby on the street and to the track.
One question.. the third throttle cable(lowest, outside) on the throttle body. What is it? It comes from around the charcoal canister.. Is it supposed to hang loose with the engine off? Mine has a bit of slack, but I didn't check it running since the car doesn't really run yet.

Why did you tighten your dist down before setting timing?
