Oil Pressure Switch on '89 IROC Z

Can anyone tell me what size socket I need to remove the Oil Pressure Switch (some call it the oil pressure sending unit) on an '89 IROC Z with the TPI 305?

I found out the oil pressure swich socket made by Lisle is too small for the original switch, but fits the replacement just fine. I need to get the old one off as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance.

...no way an adjustable will come close to fitting in that tight little area. I can't even get an open end or box wrench at it.....gonna need to be a socket.

Ah...well wish I knew what to tell ya. Been a while since I had my third gen... If you can get the adj. wrench on the fitting AT ALL even if you can't turn it, you could always dial it in as close to the right size as you can, and then go digging through deep-well sockets and try to match the socket walls up to what you've got on the wrench. It's sloppy, but it could work. That's all the help I can offer, sorry

Yea, I actually tried to get a dial caliper on it and it measures about 1.180" or 1.190" which would mean that its about a 1 3/16" or 30 mm, but I was trying to verify this before buying a deep wall socket. BTW, this is the switch/sender located above the oil filter.
