Where is the fuel pump relay?
I left my Firebird book at some guys house so I'm asking a stupid question. Where is the fuel pump relay? I want to discharge the fuel pressure without getting it all over the engine so I was going to run it down.

Uh, what year firebird? What engine? If it's TPI (I'm assuming) then it's on a bracket on the driver's side firewall. There are three relays there, two for the fans and one for the fuel pump. But be forewarned, unplugging the relay won't necessarily work. You may have an oil pressure switch which activates the fuel pump once you have a certain amount of oil pressure. When I unplugged my fp relay the car started anyway, much to my dismay.
