Swap a TPI distributor in a TBI Firedird?

I had built up a 305 which came out a 1985 TPI LB9 a while back and need to put in a 88 firebird which is already an L03. Im pulling the 88 motor which is junk and putting in the 85 motor. Im staying with the tbi setup and have a holly throttle body injector and more goodies.Got the pre87 manifold to fit and adapter plate for the tbi. Now I would like to take advantage of using the TPI Distributor because it has the accel cap and coil. Is it possible, and is so anybody have wiring info?

Sure, I don't see why it wouldn't work, but isn't Accel garbage? What benefits would you get versus using the stock one? I mean, regardless, it's still an LO3.

I'm not sure if it's just a wiring issue (large cap early style computer controlled HEI being run by an ECM/wiring harness that was designed for a later small cap divorced coil computer controlled HEI system). Power and tach connections are pretty straight forward, but I don't know if you can just patch the different wiring harness from the ECM into the early-style large cap distributor pin-for-pin.
