Power drain?

Car: 83 Trans Am
Engine: 5.7 (350) TPI
Transmission: soon to be 700r4
Axle/Gears: 9-bolt rear. gears? hell if i know
Power drain?
ok i did my 350 Tpi swap w00t!
but, somehow i am losing power and anytime i take it out it dies on me then i have to get a jump
the alternator is newer but i think i should get it tested. also we did have to run power all over the damn place in that car because of fabricating an 83 body to an 88 motor. I do know the battery is supposed to be on the other side but the power is connected over by where the battery is supposed to be. there is also two power leads connecting right by the alternator. Anyone have a clue? or faced this during their swaps?
