Max lift on Trick Flow TW heads

I see the max lift advertised is .500" on the G2 heads. What would be required to raise that to .600" lift?

springs, different retainers, maybe guide work, and possibly different valve seals. Only a machine shop can tell for sure.

Why not look at the 23*'s, You can get them with 1.46" dual springs good to .6 lift.

EDIT: Sorry, just looked at your sig. I'm pretty sure TFS used the same guides on all their heads, so you shouldn't have any guide or seal to retainer contact. I think springs would be enough, but I'd call TFS to make sure. Don't forget, with the weird rocker geometry, you may not be able to go too high w/ the lift.

The problem is in the valve-piston clearance.
When using the stock flat top pistons, you have to get them fly-cut to allow more lift. It's because the rotated valve angle moves the valve out of the stock reliefs so new ones need to be machined.
Trick flow makes pistons especially for the TW heads.
This info came straight from a TFS rep, when i called about the same question.
I would also go with the 23* heads, the rep said the performance increase of the G2s compared to the 23* was not that much, at least with my SuperRam.
I'd imagine on a tpi, the G2s are a little better since they where designed with it in mind.
I have seen many guys running very fast with the TW heads, so maybe the piston modification is worth it. I haven't seen many results from the 23* yet, they havn't been out that long. Besides the GMHTP Magnum TPI, that blew.

-305 injectors & chip
-TES headers & edelbrock cat back

Best with 305-15.0@93mph
Best with 356-13.7@101mph
on a 2.050 60 ft.
(Damn the 2.8!)

I was recently told they stopped making the twisted wedge heads because they are such pieces of **** and nothing but trouble with their retarded valve angle, goofy length pushrods and rocker to valve retainer interference.I can't see why anyone would consider buying anything other than AFR,the extra money is well spent when you pull a lenghth and a half on the cheap stuff!

What has this to do with the question? I asked for information and you give me crap opinion. That has no place here. Especially when you say "some told me", that is crap. Post truth and be prepared to back it up. As far as twisted wedge heads out of production you are wrong. You can buy a set today if so desired. Check their website.
