heads
just cleaned up the 416 heads earlier. Still trying to figure out if my c/r is going to be too high. I have a stock 79 350. 8.2/1 compression. I have a comp 270 h-10 cam that'll be going in it. With a holley street dominator intake, and edelbrock 600 cfm carb. Will those heads increase my compression 3 pts. Someone told me that it would put my compression to 10.96/1 while others said It would only add a point or a point and a half to my 8.2/1

Your decreasing your chamber volume from 76 to 58 so that 18cc's. But you probably also have dished pistons which will bring you about 10:1. But you have to measure, know way anybody can tell you anything without measuring first.

But I'd hate to tear the heads off just to find out I can't use them.
Wish I had one of those fiber optic camera things that the urologist sticks up the well yeah.
