No start

Occasionally my 92RS will only click once when the key is turned. This is only 30% of the time. Wait and try again and it's a normal, strong start up. Battery and starter check good. The other night it occurred to me it may be the alarm system. I put the alarm into valet and it started great. sound familiar to anyone?

If you have an aftermarket alarm system, you'll probably want to check all the installer's connections. Those are frequently installed using crimp connectors and line taps. That is the second worst way to connect vehicle wiring. Time will allow oxidation and increased resistance at those connections, and weather only accelerates it. Most of them aren't revered for using the highest quality componetns and devices, either.

You'll also want to verify the main power connections at the starter, battery, ground, and fusible links just to be certain.

Now that you mentuion it, the doors sometimes do not lock when I get out and hit the remote. I'll disconnect the module for a while. Thanks.
