Car: 92 Z-28

Engine: 305

Transmission: automatic

Code 13

I have a 92 Z-28 with 305 tpi and auto trans. The check engine light came on after driving about 5 miles. I checked the onboard diagnostic and got a code 13.
Besides a bad O2 sensor or loose wire on the sensor, what will cause this and what things can I check without taking it to a garage?

i had this happen once. I had gotton water in the connector.
