Does anyone know...

This is the second time my car has started, the first time it just flat out didnt start, the motor tuned over but it woulnt start, i thought i must have flooded it... two hours later it started. The second time it started up, ran for 5 seconds and shut off. It was getting fuel so i checked for spark, no spark. I traced the problem to the Accel 7pin ignition moduel that i put in not more than 2 months ago. I replaced it with the stock GM one and it works fine.

Why would the accel moduel go, and do u guys know the phone number for accel/ if they warentee this product?

Didn't put the heat sink grease on the back of it? You could also have a bad coil or condensor that is killing your module by overheating it. Another thing, it could just be that accel slipped a defective part out their door. ANY manufacturer will have their defects.

Ignition modules frequently go bad in our cars, i have replaced 2 in about 7 months.

i did put the MSD grease on the back, even tho it said it wasnt necessary, just for added protection.

Its only been in use for about 3 months, i guess they dont replace them?

i guess ill stick with the stock one, do the aftermarkets rele make a difference?
