WOW put a new Fuel Pressure reg in and Now Code 44 Running Lean
I am very confused ..... At first my camaro was running rich at 7000 HC's on emmissions. I replaced the Fuel Pressure Reg
and now its reading Lean... code 44 wow
Car seems to lack power and my gas/oil gauge are still bouncing up and down slightly ever so often...
Any help would be awsome

I think you are misunderstanding your emissions readings. Your Hydrocarbons (HC) is an indicator of a misfire (engine not running properly or not having complete combustion), not whether you are running rich or lean. Carbon Monoxide (CO) is your indicator of rich and lean. When you have excessive HC but your CO is low, you have a lean misfire. I bet that is what you are seeing. I would be curious to see the rest of your reading are. You can pretty much diagnose anything by reading emissions readings. Hope that sends you in the right direction.

This is what the Emission showed with the results.
co% 3.95 with the limit of 1.10
HC% 7375 w/ the limit of 275
No % 340 w/ the limit of 3600
RPM= 1452
Dilution 11.5%
air inj sys=pass
egr system = pass
pcv system = pass
fuel inlet restrictor= pass
cat conv= pass
evap ctrl sys= pass
gas cap= pass

put fuel pressure tester and ran car... steady at 40
shut car off and it slowly dropped to 20 withing 30 seconds or so then slowly dropped to zero..
I checked the fuel injectors and there not leaking... im still confused
I thought the pressure was supposed to hold steady and not drop more than 1 psi an hour... what is causing it to run lean and the pressure to drop when i shut the car off...
I turn the key but I do not start the car. The pressure shoots up to 40 sits there for a bit n then drops slowly and then slower till finally no pressure is left...
Its running lean and it doesnt make any sense to me... bad check valve in fuel pump??
The car was perfect... it only sat for 7 years.....
