I need to put some tires on my spare set of mags, and my dad is getting the tires on his mini-van changed. They are 215-70-15. Mine have almost NO tread left, and all these will be used for is storing the car in the winter and when I take my car to a shop, so light driving.

The tires on the mags right now are 215-60-15 (I think). I'm just wondering whether I'll be rubbing or not with the 215-70-15 on there? This is an ideal situation because all I have to pay is mounting/balancing then for the 4 tires.

Stock size is usually about 215/65R15's. Those tires will work just fine, but be a little bit taller.
