Well the trans on my 89 seems to need a rebuild, and instead of spending the money on that I was thinking about doing my 6-speed swap for the camaro ans then put the 700R4 i the grand marquis, I doubt it will fit, thought I might ask though any idea?

You might want to post this on the transmittion board but im sure a kind moderator will move it for you.
Well the transmittion will not fit in the grand marquis. Dont get me wrong it could fit with a chevy engine and alot of work
As far as a 6 speed swap there are a few people around here that have done it and they are satisfied. But truth is any auto to standard swap is a PITA. The other way around is alot easyer.
