taking out a/c....

im taking the a/c out of my camaro, since it doesnt work anyways.... i dont know whats it's called, but it's connected to the a/c, it looks like a radiator. i took it out, so i had more room to work when i got the engine back in. if i just put the radiator back in, am i gonna have problems? i really dont wanna throw this thing back in since it doesnt serve a purpose and i wanna clean up my engine compartment a bit.

thanx

The only effect this will have on your car is that it will probably run cooler because the condenser wont be sitting in front of your radiator. Worked well for me when I did it last year.

The only this effects the heater at all it that maybe on a winter day if you are driving down the highway at 60mph the heat will take a couple more seconds to get hot. I drove all winter like this, and my heat is still toasty warm. As long as you dont have like a 160* stat your heat will be fine in the winter, and it would probably be fine like that too. If your A/C is broken and you dont plan on fixing it, get that junk outa there.

the a/c never worked since i baught it (used). i have t-tops, why would i need a/c?!

last winter, i had to drive my camaro after new years, my beater blew up. and the heater didnt work, the air would come out fine, but the heater wouldnt work.... when i took the engine out, i blew in one of the hoses that goes to the heater core, and coolant came out. why would my heater not work then?

i have another beater now, and plan on drivintg that come winter... but just in case that breaks too, id like to have heat, what else could be causing the heater to not work?
