What the F*** is goin on?!?!?!?!?!?
my engine runs fine and dandy but every time you pu tmy car in gear it rides real rough then shuts off! its a TPI 350 adn i have no idea what tranny but its stock. im only 17 and have no idea about trans so i have no idea what happened! I need you guys help BAD!!!!! O! what happened was i was going down the highway and it just stopped accelerating! i pulled over and that was it! it cranks and revs it just as soon as you get it in gear it shakes bad then shuts off! Please Guys! i need dhelp now! its on th eside of the road and i havent even picked it up yet! i was about to cry cause of it! i love my car! HHHHEEEEEEELLLLLLLLPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

happened to me,trans(700r4)gave up at 100 mph on the freeway(if it's so free,why are there speed limits?).
try it in all gears,if it runs and revs in park,you killed the tranny,if if doesn't,could bethe torque converter.i'm bettin on the tranny though.low or 2nd might get you home.

I always thought freeway meant "free of privately owned properties" so they could enforce that you only get on and off by exit ramps, no traffic lights or driveways or crossroads to watch out for.
