Cant be valve stem seals already??

I recently rebuilt the 305 in my T/A and since I had the heads off I figured I would port the heads and put in new valve seals. Here is my problem now. Motor has been in I guess 2 or so months and I drive the car about 2 or three times a week 26 miles round trip to work, never had any trouble untill I let the car sit about 2 weeks and now I'm getting white smoke at start up and to top it off if after it gets driven and I get home I can rev the motor and I notice a hint of black exhuast when reved above 3k. Carb is 100% brand new, it's a CCC q-jet. The only variable to this I changed the oil once since I rebuilt it and that was after the cam, etc was broke in, after that I had carb issues with the old q-jet and bought another. I was thinking mabey the oil got contaminated mabey is causing my oil problem, long shot, but I guess only changing it will tell for sure???

White smoke is coolant. Might have a head gasket problem or cracked head or block. Your machine shop might not have done your heads right. Hows the coolant in the coolant tank? When the engine is hot do you get bubbles on the coolant tank? Run a leak down test and listen for air hissing from the intake, exhaust, and crankcase and look for bubbles in the radiator.

Yea, I checked all that already. Full radiator and clean oil. I changed the oil this evening and it did have a hint of fuel in it for some reason, probley from when I was having so much trouble from my old carb. Seems to have remedied the issue for now. We'll see.
