well i installed my new z28 gauges...and it turned out my temp gauge wasnt even hooked up from the hole time i owned the car,so i got it hooked it up..and within 40 mins of hwy driving,it went to the red zone..so i changed the thermostat,did a rad flush..i thought it was better,but its still doing it...any ideas? i dont have the black under the car rad cooler thing..never came with the car...but does it really help that much?

yes it helps when u have the air dam under ur car. it deflects air into ur radiator. definatly get an air dam.

Without that piece under you car you WILL overheat!!! Put one on and problem solved. If you have to, just shave it down abit, cause your car is so low, try to keep as much of it as you can though!
