0.6 Cam Lift, Do i have enough room?

this is my engine setup for my 82 Z28

Stroker...
350 4 bolt main, its a 010 Nickle Block
Bored 60 over
Scat 9000 series 400 Block Crank
4340 forged Eagle H-Beams 6" Rod
crane 1.6 roller rockers and guide plates
Fully Ported/Polished Heads, Cast 492 #
I have with 2.055 and 1.6" valves with double springs

MSD Pro Billet Distributor, with MSD blaster 2 coil
and crane cams hi6 ignition box
port matched victor jr
Holly Dbl pmpbr 850 cfm

The pistons are 10.3 compression KP "Hyperpatethic" 0.60 Flattops

I am getting a custom roller cam made specific to my needs so i can keep a good powerband.

The lift will be 0.600 on the intake and 0.62 on exhaust

The question i have is will I have enough clearance with that size of cam lobe?

And how can i check?

-Matt

put some clay/puddy on the piston and turn the motor over by hand after torquing down the head. Measure the distance at the thinnest spot of the puddy.

I'd be more concerned with cam to rod clearance. Might need a small base circle cam.

Thanks for all your answers

and thanks katman for mentioning cam to rod clearance... i wouldve never thought about that.

After a bit of reasearch i will require a 1.786” nominal journal diameter, so ill really have to get that custom grind cam

Thanks!
