i seriously need help



i put headers,cam,and manifold and it wont rev past 2000 rpms and its spits and sputters when i gas it. its a 305 tbi i need a list of what it can be. does it need more fuel or what it just doesnt idle right and it wont rev past 2000 help help help

Sounds to me like your timing is off.. Check that first. Then check for vacuum leaks..

Did you degree the cam?
Did you reset the computer?

my uncle said the dis should be right and he timed it at 0 degrees i think does that sound right

would a vaccum line make it only rev up to 2000

Your uncle and my manual disagree. Try 6 degrees BTDC, ot 10 degrees. My manual has both listed for the 305 but goes by VIN not TBI or TPI.
