Help With Heads
i just got a pair of heads from a friend for free. im wondering if their worth using. casting #3932441, 1970, 350, 1.94 in, 1.5 ex, 76.26 chambers. these specs are the same as my POS 882's. im just wondering because these heads have been ported and polished, screw in studs, push rod guides, new springs, and seals. were these heads good or did someone waste there time ?

the 441's are one of the better of the '70's smogger heads, first used on the 69 350 255hp.
Their typical street motor potential with porting and 2.02x 1.60 valves is about 390-425 Bhp @10:1 compression and suitable matching parts.
the chambers are nominally 76cc's and can be flat milled to about 69-70cc or angle milled to get 62cc's
If this fits your plans they will work well for ya.
They are a better casting than the 882's.
