Price-for installation of window motor??

I bought a window motor for my 92 camaro. but i don't have the time ad it seems to be a PITA project. so what should i expect for a shop to do it?

I did my own. I even picked up a remaned motor for 1/3 the price of the dealorship. I also installed a motor on a 96 camaro. they quoted her about $350 (I think)(that included the motor). its a two man job and I did it for her for $160 including the motor. it took me and my uncle 4 hours on mine, just because that was the first time we'd ever torn the door apart. it took us 2 hours to do the second camaro.

I would guess that they would charge at least 150 in labor, but thats just a guess.

hey...im friends w/a local mechanic and he charges about 100 to do it on a 3rd gen...i did my own but it was a PITA and took me like 5 hours...i look back at it now and the 100 bucks seems like it woulda been worth it...BTW im in jersey too...about 40 min from u...actually i think a buddy of mine talked to u and said u were pretty young too...well im only 17 and were in the same boat as far as mods and pretty close w/ET's...drop me and email maybe we can hit the track together

I charge $150.00 + parts. (only new stuff, never reman., about 99 bucks at the dealer)

and it takes me about 45 mins.

I had a glass shop install mine for $75 labor....part cost about another $75.

It CAN be done in about 1 hour if you have the right tools. The only reason I didn't do it myself was because I couldn't find a rivet gun big enough for the necesarry rivets.
