need adjustment?

Ok, got everything together and it runs awesome. I was driving around tonight a little and it seemed after driving around in town a little that when I would come to a stop it would start running rough and die. I figure the carb needs adjustment some more and it's loading up. or it's from an exhaust lead that's blowing right on the fuel lines. Would the gas getting heated like that cause vapor lock?

here's my setup

79 chevy 350 block
86 416 heads
Holley Street Dominator intake
Comp 270-H10
holley 80gph mechanical fuel pump

An exhaust leak directed at a fuel line can induce vapor lock in a system using a mechanical pump. Systems with in-tank pumps are far less prone to vapor lock.

is rough running and stalling a sign of vapor lock?
