Engine: 229 V6, L98 TPI 350
Transmission: TH350, 700R4
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt ???, 9 bolt 3.27 posi
Power Steering Question
Since i took the engine out almost half a year ago, i forget how it went. The fitting on the end of the hard line i know where that goes, but where does the other hose go to? Anyone have pics? Thanks

I think I can help. Derek and I are converting our '82 style to a later model '86 and we have studied the routing on both units.
You said you knew where the High Pressure went, marked with an "H" in the photo.
Scenario #1 Your car is newer and this is probably it!
You have the extra cooling loop (bottom of pic). The fluid comes out of the steering box at L4 and is connected to the loop via L3.
The Fluid comes out of the loop at L2 and connects via a rubber hose and clamps to the back of the steering pump at L1.
Scenario #2
You do not have the extra cooling loop (bottom of pic). L1 connects directly to L4 via a rubber hose and clamps.

I found out where the line is supposed to go (Accidentally, and it left a nasty stain on the driveway, ooops
), so thats all set
