stupid cam change question

I already feel like an idiot asking, but heres my question. When you change out a cam and take off the timing chain cover do you have to change out the oil pan gasket too? Wondering because I wasn't sure if the font portion of the gasket is rubber or non-stick type. Just want to make sure so I know exactly what I'm getting into because an oil pan gasket on our cars is a PITA.

Thanks, I'll go ahead and get the gasket set anyways so that I don't have to wait a week for a gasket if I jack it up. I figured that you don't always have to and this being on a new engine I think I should be alright.
