e-brake

Is it possible to adjust my e-brake? Right now, I have to pull the level as far back as it will go before I see the brake take effect.

Right now, the car has not been ran in over a year (doing the v6-v8 swap), could that have something to do with it? Can I adjust the cable somehow?

ea. the adjustment is in the trans tunnel right above the driveshaft.. (common problem is when the e-brake cable pop out of the bracket and rub causing a wear ring around the driveshaft and making a grinding noise on bumps..) But anyhow.. You just turn the nut until it is where is needs to be.

After that is depends on whether you have a disc rear or a drum rear. The disc has by far fewer parts to fail....

My rear discs wouldn't work on matter what I did becuase of the brake recall. I got new calipers, bled the lines, got a new prop valve, now the car stops like it was designed to and the e-brake works.
