A/C fitting questions

Hey guys I went to vacuum and recharge my A/C system yesterday and had a little problem getting the right fittings to connect to my guages. I will post a pic as soon as I can, but it looks like my car had previously been converted to 134. The one fitting on the dryer looks like a typical male pneumatic tools fitting, just a little bigger, this one isnt a problem. The second one is much smaller and looks like I need a small male connector on my guages to connect to it. I have not been able to find an adapter or even a connector at the local stores that looks like it will fit it. BTW, the guages I have were meant for R12. I have seen new hose sets in the stores, but none of them look to have the right connector. If anyone has any idea what i'm talking about please feel free to chime in, if not I will have a pic up soon. Any pics you guys have of your converted fittings would probably help me a lot. I have done a search of the boards already and I didn't come up with anything. Thanks
