82cc aluminum heads, possible?

ok, i built my motor originally just as a raw power motor, no forced induction or juice. i'm very happy with it, but as it goes with horsepower... never enough. my newest idea is to put a supercharger on the car, to do so i'll need to lower the CR since my pistons are 10.9:1 dynamic CR and thats obviously way too high for forced induction. so what i'm wondering is can i buy such a thing as 82cc aluminum heads,(that flow well obviously) to lower my CR to about 8.5:1. i need some ideas... i'd really like to run like 10-12 lbs of boost through it, but we'll see what comes of this post... thanks in advance!

I would say depending on the head yes. Starting w/ a 78cc chamber, most head porters should be able to get a good 3-4 ccs extra in the chambers. I talked to Brian Tooley at TEA one time and he said he could get about 4 ccs on a LT1 port fairly safely... and more on others depending on the casting.

there are a couple companies. I don't remember off hand though. AFR does IIRC. Its not techinally a port job, b/c its not porting the runners, but just massaging the chambers to open up the cc...
