I was looking at my car and a jogger came by and handed me a tool to use for my hard to reach plug wires.
He took a 8" piece of garden hose slit it lengthwise so it will wrap over the wire. It works great on that front wire under the alternator. Just open the hose put the wire inside give a good push until it clicks on, slide the hose up. open and take it off.

 

sweet, I might have to try that one out!
