drive shaft?

drive shaft?


When I first get under the front of my camarors 90 6cyl, Is the bottom part of the belt going around the drive shaft? If it is then is the VSS connection behind that on the transmission? About the middle of the car?

That is actually the crankshaft pulley (or more technically, sheave - but most people call them "pullies").

The driveshaft is the tubular shaft connecting the transmission to the rear drive axle.
