Service Engine Light...

I was coming home from my girlfriends the other night down SR40 in my town. I'm doing about 60 in cruise mode, and the service engine light came on. Didn't lose any power, no stumbling, knocking or backfiring-- just the light. I get home, shut off the car, and crank it up again to see if the code would clear itself... and sure enough it did. It hasn't come back on since then, even under hard driving. Any ideas as to what it could've been? One time problem, or is something looming over on the horizon?

I'll shoot and say it was an EGR code, but you won't know for sure until you pull your stored codes. Bottom of page on the FAQ will explain all, now go grab a paperclip...
