Running it dry is not an option since the engine is on a stand next to the car. I have some old gas in the tank and I don't want to run it through my new injectors. Can I run power to the pump and drain it through the fuel lines?

Sure. The easiest way to do that it find the fuel pump relay, unplug it, and jump the 2 terminals with the thicker wires coming out of them with a section of wire or something. Just keep an eye on it, make sure you don't keep running the pump after it stops putting out gas. Expect it to take awhile if you're using the stock pump..it goes slow.

I put a squeaze type siphon pump meant for kerosene and a length of silicone tubing down the gas filler. It left under a gallon in the tank.
