A/C question?

My 305 TBI engine runs hot when I turn the ac off and runs steady with it on. What the heck is going on? Someone told me something about a regulator fan. Any ideas?

I believe the radiator fan is always on when the AC is on. Pop the hood and see if the fan turn on.

Engine: 305 in both!

Transmission: 200c / Th700r4

Axle/Gears: 3:73 / 3.42

Sounds like your temp switch is bad. It tells the fan to come on at a certain temp. When you turn on the A/C the fan switch is then bypassed and the fan is on constantly.
