Frustrated beyond belief....
My car has had a cycle/stumbling problem since I replaced the intake manifold in the spring. Well after several visits to the mechanic and several sensor and valve replacements we found out the main culprit were the injectors. The new injectors have fixed the cycle/tugging at speed problem, however after warm up the car has a nervous idle and will cut out at times especially if you stop and put the car into reverse. I have replaced the following, EGR, EGR solenoid,O2 sensor, coil, a new vacuum line from the EGR solenoid to the EGR valve and front of the plenum. The car also has new Taylor wires, new cap,new rotor, new spark plugs and of course new Acell injectors.Four mechanics have looked at the car over the months and no one can find a vacuum leak. Now I am broke! What the hell can be causing this miss and stall problem? My thoughts are the IAC or the TPS, how about the coil pickup or the ignition module? I'm about to unload this piece of crap if I can't get this problem fixed soon, maybe even journey to the

I had the same thing in an 85 IROC. but I also put to big a cam in it (I think). I finally gave up on it and sold it. It would do the same thing. Idle bad, stall on heavy breaking. Thats why I thought it was to big a cam. because I demanded to much vacuum from the brake booster.
