new style heads, old style intake??
You always see people saying to oblong the middle 4 holes on the intake to get it to go onto newer style heads because of the angle difference, BUT is there anthing like a washer with an angle to it that will alow me to tighten it up without screwin the intake up around those holes?

In fact this is the way Weiand recommends you modify for their blower intakes to fit. Just elongate the holes.

i bought my intake for my 76 heads a while back and it looks like there is absolutely no way i would be able to get this thing to seal if i put it on my 081s. The countersounk center bolts extend on the outside of the bolt holes. are you guys using different heads then me?
