Rocky Ride...

What are some good ways to soften the ride of an Iroc? For instance, do caddys just have really soft springs and struts, or is it something intrinsic to the whole setup that gives a soft ride? Don't get me wrong I'm a big fan of good handling, but I need to soften up the suspension a bit. I moved to a new, much bumpier area, and I want good handling, but when you're getting bounced around so badly on bumps that you can't steer or accelerate smoothly and you get mad wheel hop the car literally doesn't "handle" at all. Thanks in advance.

look in a summit catalog under hotchkis.. i think they have a section just for you, called something like 'Spongy Springs: for those of you who demand the most caddy-like feel out of your sports car'.. haha, jk seriously. i dunno man, if you seriously want some sponge action, put some springs out of a v-6 camaro in there, that will soften it up a bit.. or throw a few hundred pounds of sand bags in the trunk and right behind your seat

Handling is on the opposite end of smooth ride as far as a suspension goes. V6 springs, V6 sway bar in front, no bar in the rear will make it ride nicer(still not as good as a caddy) but handling will suffer. It's a trade off.
I'm guessing you won't get a good response here, since most of us make our cars handle better and ride harsher.
