350 compresion?

350 compresion?

Alright I just bought a old 350..im going to be compleatly rebuilding it... but would a new crank really do anything for performce since they are going around 500 bucks? and then the compression for the pistions.. what should i be looking for>??? whats going ot be the all out best?

Greg, unless the new crank adds displacemnet to the engine, it won't do anything for performance. depending on the engines intended output, it may add to longevity, though.

Your question regarding compression ratio is a little premature, you need to decide on several factors of the engine build.

Your best bet is to look into what you want from the engine, then ask or research for information on how to obtain the output.
