If this isnt in the correct place, please move to the correct place..I am temporarily not driving the Camaro for a little while..It is sitting (with a cover) outside at a family members house..they live in the desert..So I am concerned about field mice getting in and eating the wiring and hoses to my car..I have been putting alot of boxes of decon in the engine compartment, but does anyone know some trick that can keep them away with out having to drive out there every other day to put new decon boxes in??

I've heard the same thing about those dryer fabric softener sheets. Not sure how long they last, though.
Downy fabric softener drier sheets everywhere.
I use those in the car when I store it for the winter.
If you have anything that you don't want an oily residue on ie: fabrics/interior carpets, put a bed sheet over them first. Put an entire box worth of sheets over everything including tuck it down beside battery, air intake, underneath intake plenum, down the sides, on the exhaust etc etc. Stuff em everywhere jsut remember to get everylast one of them out before u start it up again otherwise you'll have a firehazard/burnt smell.
Use steel wool inside the exhaust tips and stick a few drier sheets in the intake just before the air filter. Other than that, keep it covered and put some moth ***** underneath the car so it will keep them away from it as well.
