Knock Sensor, Where is it?

I'm getting a code for my knock sensor but I've never played with one before so I don't know where it's at. All I've figured out is that I have to drain the cooling system before I change it which I'm assuming it means its towards the bottom of the block.

I've got a 92 Firebird 350 TPI

You'll probably want to drain the coolant. The knock sensor is basically acting as a block drain plug for your block's passenger side. You'll see a plug in exactly the same place on your driver's side. They both drain coolant from the block.

When I did it on my car, I didn't drain the coolant and ended up with quite a mess to clean up in the garage.
