Non A/C power steering bracket?
hey all,
Since I've got my engine out, somewhat unexpectedly, I think I'll go ahead and remove the A/C stuff. I know I can simply leave the A/C compressor off, but That will just look ugly. Was there a dedicated steering pump bracket for the Non A/C cars? If so, tell me about it please. I'd like to have just the steering pump mounted with no remnants of the A/C compressor bracket.
if anyone has one they wan't to get rid of, Let me know too
thanks

Not really, If you remove the 3 ac support brackets the power searing braket is virtualy the same "if not the same" as an engine w/o ac.

well,
the pump depends on the a/c bracket for one of its mounting points.
Did the non a/c cars simply not use this mounting point on the pump? or is there another bracket?
little help?
Clem

Does anyone have a photo of what their factory a/c delete bracketry looks like (on a v-belt car)?
I would love to see what it looks like from the factory.
thanks
